The AQS is a continuous air quality unit. It measures carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), ozone (O₃) and ammonia (NH₃), together with temperature and atmospheric pressure. Real-time data helps identify harmful pollutants and keep air within environmental and public-health standards. It is the air quality unit used on the Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station.
