The ECHO-WS is an automated weather monitoring station for research sites, cities, farms and remote locations. It measures wind, air temperature, humidity, pressure, rainfall, solar radiation and UV. The ECHO-Gateway v4 logs the readings and sends them to EchoCloud. It runs on solar power, so it needs no mains supply on site.

What does the weather station measure?
Wind speed and direction, air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation and UV.
Should I choose one combined unit or separate sensors?
The MET05 puts wind, temperature, humidity and pressure on one mounting point. The SA02 and TDV02 let you mount each sensor at the height it needs, following WMO recommendations.
Which rain sensor do I need?
The SEMR226 radar sensor has no moving parts and reports rain, snow or hail. The SEM404 bucket gauge is accurate to ±3 %, and some sites use both.
Can it work at a remote site with no mains power?
Yes. The station runs on a solar panel with a backup battery.
How does the data reach me?
The station sends readings over 4G or Ethernet to EchoCloud, where you can view them in real time.
What happens if the connection goes down?
With 4G and Ethernet, the station restores communication over the other link. If all communication is down, it keeps the data and resends it when the connection returns.
